6 years ago Hey, this is a great idea. Have you thought about integrating the functions of recruitment and refugee application processing into this? For example, NGOs, companies, and even governments could make requests for the specific skills / experience they require and then provide employment opportunities to refugees, thereby speeding up the process of gaining access to a country. The people who are highly skilled and are therefore recruited and relocated first could then create accredited learning paths for others to follow. This could be used to counter some of the degrading stereotypes the media portrays by highlighting the efforts of those who find themselves in difficult times whilst alleviating some of the pressure on refugee camps by freeing up some of the resources, space, time of NGOs.

**Learning Blocks**Project Description A blockchain-powered platform to certify refugees’ skills-based education.
Learning Blocks elevates traditionally underrepresented voices in our refugee target community by promoting agency of their own education through receiving certified education that can unlock better employment opportunities, and by enabling them to craft their own learning trajectory. What we are doing is creating a systemic infrastructure / platform that will allow them to do just that. This will be done by helping NGOs that are teaching refugees to certify the education and skills-building courses they are providing, and by also allowing open education resources to issue blockchain certificates. This would turn them into attractive learning resources for refugees and the informal schools that teach them.
