Colony Hackathon Submission

Knowledge Researcher Network(Open Academics)

Project Description

Create a knowledge-Researcher's networked community for cross-inter-disciplinary collaboration in production of knowledge in a community network. Here researchers can share their researches/data or prospects for a research collaboration by using licensing by smart contracts allowing also to define ownership of the information finally conceived. Here also to allow for other esoteric knowledge to flourish along with mainstream forms of Knowledge.

Yes, looking for developers to make this imagination real.

Awesome proposal. Check https://deip.world https://www.sciencematters.io https://www.blockchainforscience.com if you need some inspiration. Good luck!

I am IN!

thanks @42piratas;;;;Hello @CodeForFreedom, how should we go about it..

CodeForFreedom commented 6 years ago

Well, I got plenty of freetime and I am wanting to learn more about the colony framework. I started coding not so long ago but have strong learning capacity. Ready to dive into smartcontracts programming.

okay @CodeForFreedom .....Apparently i am not code friendly though just a design researcher. so we can look forward to it though or try rather. Something akin....

Well, it seems that you will benefit from some research about smartcontract use cases to be sure that it is required in your model and not a trendy choice. What kind of data/transactions would need to be saved and unalterable? Why not using a typycal database?

@CodeForFreedom That is a general framework. In colony we are looking in http://liquidbooks.pbworks.com/w/page/11135951/FrontPage. Here the scenario is creation of a research lab where researchers can collaborate on production of Knowledge or in general terms data/information. After or during the production of such artefact by a shared database in which colony framework is productive for division of value to each contributor. Colony Contracts in this help in distribution of value as per contribution or colony consensus Thus a decentralised network is suitable since it a cross or inter collaboration by co-operation. This is a brief part that can work here.
