Unable to pick an image while creating an event #1865

To Reproduce Steps to reproduce the behavior:

  1. Go to Explore > Regions.
  2. Tap the + button to create a new event.
  3. Go through the steps.
  4. Once the image selection screen, tap + Add picture.
  5. Select an image and tap Done.

Current behavior Observe the app return to the list of events.

Expected behavior User is expected to be able to finish event creation.

Issue 1865 logs.txt

Seems to pick the image OK, but there are some errors:

File: '/private/var/mobile/Containers/Data/Application/D3D5D94C-9CBF-4CCE-90FF-4FE033B71F38/tmp/image_cropper_6BE034FD-86EB-4DF0-AEEE-93021FFCBF9C-13785-00000295A8AC05A4.jpg', PictureBoxState.imagePicked

@gguij004 @n13 @RaulUrtecho Just re-tested this on Android 11 (Google Pixel 2 XL) and I am now seeing the same issue there as well. I will send the video directly.

Fixed by #1862.

✅ Test Case 1

  1. Go to Explore > Regions.
  2. Tap the + button to create a new event.
  3. Go through the steps.
  4. Once the image selection screen, tap + Add picture.
  5. Select an image and tap Done.
  6. Finish the event creation.
