The attached zip file contains
I coined the term full-score bars to describe the error. As you'll see in the screenshot, such barlines run the entire depth of the score from the top staff/system right to the bottom staff/system with no break between systems.
The score I've attached has other layout problems, but I assume those are to be expected when migrating from 3.6.2 to 3.7.
Sidenote: thanks so much, JoJo, for pursuing this fork of 3.6. 4.0 is completely unusable for my purposes. 3.6.2 was getting close to perfect.

I replied to the auto-generated email sent to my local address. Records show I did attach the zip file. Perhaps github rejected it? At any rate, I'm drag and dropping the file into the comment area of this thread. Hope it shows up. wonky_barlines.zip
Yes, replies via email do loose their attachments Here the screenshot:
And yes, I can confirm the issue with 3.7, and it being a regression vs. 3.6.2. Not an issue with Mu4.
Selecting the measures ending with that messy barlines and pressing return twice (i.e. adding and removing a system break) seems to fix it. Note: these are places where 3.6.2 would automatically break the system/page!
Something odd is happening in measure 53; all clefs and key signatures are repeated. In 3.6.2 and 3.7. And the key signature can't get deleted ?!? It doesn't show a measure number, even when it is the first measure in a system, it is always hidden, but why?
I'm not seeing the repeated key/time signatures at bar 53, rather at bar 114. I do, however, notice the missing bar number at 53. I can fix the repeated key/time signatures by selecting them and unchecking "Show courtesy" in the Inspector.
Clef and key signature, but yes there too. Isn't there a section break missing?
At 53 you'd seem it after the "twice return" trick to fix the barlines.
Is this better? String_nonet-2.zip
MuseScoreNightly-202407160427 and earlier, full score bar lines are being added randomly over system bar lines to scores that were created with 3.6.2. The visual result is a thicker system bar line and a single, thinner bar line incorrectly joining the systems. The issue does not appear on every page. Where it does, it only occurs once per page. I can provide both the score and a screenshot if needed.
