I have a few things in mind that I think we need to consider and address:
[ ] We need, most likely, a region in some phase space where we can say it is free of signal and so that region would be our control sample region. But since we are going to cut on pT for the EM objects, then it is left to figure out what that region would be.
[x] In the case of electron reconstruction, there is a timing cut in the calorimeters that definitely affect the reconstruction of displaced electrons. I am not sure if we would suffer from this, but if we do then we might have to check electrons not from the electrons container but from the tracks. Since our decay is very fast and the displacement very small, maybe we are safe, but we need to check this and figure out from the literature if this timing cut could really affect us.
