Any chance of an STL for 3D printing of the throttle arm please?

Thanks in advance either way, Lt.Shifty

Well... here's the thing... you don't want that if you intend to 3D print it.

  1. The wall is too thin unless you use some thing strong like Phrozen Onyx Impact Plus, or PPA CF. Because it's really designed to be made with cast aluminum.
  2. You might want to modify something. For instance, I chopped off the tail piece because I intend to use an axial rotational Hall Effect sensor, so I don't need the tail that pulls a linkage. Then, I made the throttle pivot points larger to fit the bronze sleeve bearings I chose. And the main axial hole even larger to press fit the ball bearing I chose. And b/c of the larger central hole for the ball bearing, I had to reenforce the structure around the main axel hole.
  3. I have no idea what your printer resolution requirements are, so I can't really set it other than overshooting the resolution. Then it's a huge file, > 300 MB. Then, where am I going to upload it for download? Not appropriate for GitHub.

Doing these modifications is best done in some CAD systems, and then export to STL for printing. So, in general, generating and uploading STL files is not exactly a general solution.

But, as a special case, if you want the STL of my "modified" throttle arm I actually 3D print with a Bambu X1C using PLA filament, I can generate it and upload it to www.hempstick.org for you.
