7 years ago It works a bit now, but you cannot customize it yet and it would be nicer if the cite key would change dynamically if you change one of the other values. That's why I will leave this open for now. Feel free to improve this functionality yourself.
Edit: It won't work out of the box. One first has to change the template manually. $cite_key$ will from now on be replaced with the guessed cite key
It would be nice if this add-on would automatically propose the cite_key. A popular format for this is a concatenation of the surname of the first author, the publication year and the first word of the title.
The possibility to customize this would be a plus but might be more complicated.
