It seems better to remember the users to reform the MAC address which in the drcom.c file before first login in README.

JonathanKang commented 8 years ago

Oh. Nice idea. It should better if we can set it up automatically.

Oh really, I've found some codes on StackOverflow, it is a function about get MAC address written in C. http://stackoverflow.com/questions/13646621/how-to-get-mac-address-in-windows-with-c

p.s. I am sorry to say that I found this client doesn't work well in our college, at least on my Linux, it doesn't work. :-(

Well, feel free to hack on it. :)

It's still WIP. Gonna improve it commit by commit.

How to get the MAC on different distributions? I've googled a bit but it varies from distributions.

@HaohongWANG Can you confirm this client still works right now(still can connect to the network)?

HaohongWANG commented 7 years ago

There is an error during login part, the message said that my password is wrong but I am sure I input the right one. Seems the authentication process of our school had been changed. Because the one wrote in Python cannot work as normal either. And recently JLU released new login software, however, the new version still awkward. So we guys found a new Python version from GitHub instead.

JonathanKang commented 7 years ago

So it means this software won't work well unless we fix it in term of the latest update on official client, which makes this program useless.

HaohongWANG commented 7 years ago

I have to say maybe you are right... feel sorry about that. Since network in our school become more and more convenient this semester, the future of this software seems not good.

JonathanKang commented 7 years ago

Yes, it almost means this project is dead now.
