Having checked http://caniuse.com/#feat=canvas and http://caniuse.com/#feat=json I am inclined to agree with you. We will go ahead and remove it.

I think I was planning on using a polyfill to allow usage on earlier versions of IE, but then later decided against it, but never removed the JSON library. IE usage is such a small number of people anyway.

Here are the statistics if you're interested, over the last year, IE total was 7.29% of all visits, with percentage of that broken down between the following versions:

11.0 34.19%
9.0 20.35%
8.0 9.05%
7.0 1.17%

Hey, have you had the chance to check out the edits?

Also forgot to mention that I'm surprised by the jump in usage between IE 8 and 9.

Finally had a good amount of time today, I ported applicable changes of yours to my new version and also managed to upload your changes onto the live site.

In regards to IE usage, I guess that stats say that people who use IE have mostly upgraded beyond Windows XP, which really well and truly is a dated OS.
