Closed Manu-Devloo closed 5 months ago

Manu-Devloo commented 6 months ago

I don't see any GUI & there is no backup happening. After I did the latest update, I just see a black screen.

kooori commented 6 months ago

you need to use the ubuntu22 release. I had the same issue.

Manu-Devloo commented 6 months ago

How can i do that, om on unraid.

  1. Click Docker tab in Unraid webUI
  2. Click on the backblaze docker that you have installed
  3. Click Edit
  4. Locate the line "Repository: _tessypowder/backblaze-personal-wine"
  5. Add ":latest" to the end of it, so it should look something like this: Repository: tessypowder/backblaze-personal-wine:latest
  6. Click Apply at the bottom
Manu-Devloo commented 6 months ago

I tried adding ":latest" to my Repository in unraid and I still have the black screen

10Thirty commented 6 months ago

If you get the black screen during install you can run

docker exec --user app Backblaze_Personal_Backup wine explorer

from the unraid console and navigate to the install_backblaze.exe in c:\ and run it

you will see bzextract or something like that come up on the wine task bar, just right click on that after a few seconds and close it and the installer should pop up and then just click install now

Unfortunately I get an Explorer crash with that. I can launch the uploader, but it seems to stall the container.

I was able to get it running using :v1.5 and then updated to :latest. Appears to be working now, other than the client error when it starts up, but backups are running again. Thanks for the help!

newoski commented 6 months ago

Glad it worked!

I managed to get things working using :ubuntu22

the installer would download but would not run when using the :latest or no tag, which is the same thing I think.

Manu-Devloo commented 6 months ago

I was Abel to get it working, i added the tag latest and that made the screen flicker between the desktop and the black, when i pressed at the right moment it would stay and I was able to start the controle panal

mygrexit commented 6 months ago

None of the suggestions here worked for me.

This worked for me, but since my Backblaze docker is running on a remote server, its not really sustainable to do that everytime it restarts.

maxexcloo commented 6 months ago

Adding :ubuntu22 fixed it for me also!

surim0n commented 5 months ago

I've been trying every suggestion on here for over a month and nothing worked. As a last resort I tried :ubuntu22 and voila!

Back in business!
