What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Install Android 1.6 or 2.2 to the device
2. Try to touch the screen
3.
What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
The expected output is that the screen registers the touch, however I get
nothing, at all. It works fine when I try Ubuntu 10.4, 10.10 and 11.04beta, as
well as Windows XP and Windows 7, however nothing for the android-x86 (I tried
all builds available). Someone online has posted a fix, but not being a coder,
I do not have the knowledge (even with simple step by step instructions) on how
to do this.
What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
Android-x86 1.6 or Android-x86 2.2. It does not matter which version I use as
it has the same fault, however on 2.2 wireless does not work either.
Please provide any additional information below.
I am wanting to run android on the device for my daughter so she has something
to play some simple games on without screwing up the device.
