What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Use Repo to check out gingerbread branch
2.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
Check out successfully 
Display error: revision gingerbread-release in platform/external/skia not found 
x86
I see skia has gingerbread branch but do not have gingerbread-release branch

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?

Hi,

I am facing the same issue. is there any fix provided for the same. I am using 
the ubutnu 10.04 OS..

Ubuntu Server 11.04 64Bit, using SourceForge Repository. Which repository are 
you using? SF.NET or the original one?

SOLVED FOR ME!

Just did a try on the official android-x86 repo - THE SF.NET REPO SEEMS TO BE 
BROKEN!
