Two things. 1) Adobe icons do not change background colour. 2) Some shortcuts in my Start menu aren't found. #274

Hi, Thank you so much for this app! 👍 Unfortunately I ran into a few issues. Here goes.

adobe icons

As you can see, some Adobe icons seem to neglect both the Windows background colour, and the TileIconifier background colour.

And some shortcuts in my Start menu can't be found in TileIconifier at all, including Adobe XD, but the full list is: Adobe XD, Trello, Microsoft Store, BlueStacks, Grover Podcast, Messenger, Essential Anatomy 3 (so mainly apps that I bought in the Microsoft Store), plus a few folders that I pinned to the Start menu.

Any advice?

I had the same behavior. This looks like a feature of the latest Windows update. If you pin an icon that has a lot of dark colors, for the Dark theme background color becomes brighter. The same happens with the light-colored icon when the Light theme is enabled (background color becomes darker).

Guess this is happening to increase readability.

But it doesn't happen with the Bridge icon, and with the Lightroom Classic icon, while it does happen with Lightroom.

Any idea about why XD won't show up in the list?

Hi, Was having the same issue, but then i saw someone online saying the issue is that windows thinks the icons are too dark to be able to be seen on the dark background mode.

So I downloaded an adobe icon pack from this site https://365webresources.com/adobe-product-app-icon-sets/ and converted them to .ico files. replaced the icons with the new set using tileiconifier and it has now changed the background to all of them to match.

I used the mac ones with the different tone rim

Hello, I'm not sure if this is still a concern of yours this far on, however if you are still interested you can try the latest version and see if this works better for your situation.
