A place for end-user help and issues? #40

Hello there,

I am new to wonderflux. I am testing wonderflux to see if I can use it for my business website. I could use some business theme like Genesis or Thesis but I'm a fervent defender of Free Software, so I want to use a GPL (or similar) - based framework. I know PHP, CSS and Wordpress coding.

What I miss from Wonderflux is a place for the user to talk about using the framework, creating child themes, code snippets and so on.

For instance, to customize the grid layout, I haven't been able to find the so-called "Wonderflux options page", neither in the Wonderflux framework itself (loading it as a theme), nor in the sample Girder child theme. And I didn't know where to ask for help.

BTW, the [template]-[content] idea looks really useful. I usually end up having to track changes from the parent theme files to my child theme files just because I want to display stuff in a custom way.

Thanks in advance and best regards,

Hi Miguel, thanks for your kind words and sorry for the delayed reply... the run-up to Xmas was rather hectic! I'd love to build something like that, but due to work pressures I just don't have time at the moment... but certainly food for thought in 2015!
