The SDI deadline is approaching and so I would like to remind everyone about the submission and demonstration procedure.

  1. The deadline is on Tuesday the 2nd of May and you have until 11:59PM to upload your work. There will be a second folder for late submissions. This will remain open only for the following week after the deadline and your submission will be automatically capped to a PASS if submitted late (except if you have got an NEC).
    1. Please submit one file for your report and a zip file of the Visual Studio solution. Please make sure the report includes the team member details.
    2. Only make one submission per team – designate a team representative. 4.You will receive (you might have already) an email from one of the three lab tutors with a link to YouCanBookMe , so you can book a time slot for your demo. The team representative will book the time slot. Demos will be happening next week and the week after that. The complete team needs to be present during the demo.
    3. For your demo, please bring the cover sheet that is in the AdditionalMarkingCriteria file on NOW and fill that in with your project details. We will use that coversheet during the demo. Also bring a hard copy of your report.
    4. There will be on dropbox an additional folder were you need to submit your peer assessment. This will determine the individual final mark. You can do this after the demo, just make sure you do this within the week of the demo, otherwise, your peers will receive automatically a full contribution mark from your part. The assessment form will be available on NOW under the Assignment tab. If you have any other questions that I haven’t covered please feel free to contact me. Remember that the marking grid is going to be our guide to mark you during the demo, so, if you haven’t seen it, please have a look at it, so that you know where you are standing.
    5. Regarding the files to be submitted, if you have used something different from Visual Studio, say QT Creator, or a different IDE in Linux, this is ok. Just make sure you are able to demo your work in the lab.
    6. Prepare and submit a video to Dropbox on NOW.
