RokGallery doesn't work with Joomfish 2.5 #94

Hi all,

tried to use RokGallery version 2.14 in conjunction with Joomfish (latest relative stable version from GitHub) under Joomla 2.5.

Have added a RokGallery showcase on the homepage. Unfortunately after this comes an error message:

500 - You have an error in your SQL syntax; check the manual that corresponds to your MySQL server version for the right syntax to use near 'JOIN jos_content AS jfself USING (id)' at line 3 SQL=SELECT jfself.id AS id, a.title FROM jos_content AS a WHERE a.id = 4341 JOIN jos_content AS jfself USING (id)

When I turned the RokGallery modul off, everthing works fine.

I posted this issue already to the Rockettheme guys and got this answer:

Postby Igor Mihaljko on 16 Jul 2012 21:04 This is really a problem with JoomFish and not with RokGallery. It is pure luck that this problem doesn't show up when you disable RokGallery module but you can see that JoomFish is a problem if you take a closer look at the SQK statement that is reported. You will see that the problem is somewhere in fetching data from jos_content database table and that is something that RokGallery module doesn't use.

So as always, any help would be appreciated.

Hi,

As their support says "fetcthing ata from jos_content database table and that is something that RokGallery module doesn't use" it can be this error is related to something else, not rokgallery.

Ina ny case - ss this is commercial extension, I would need a copy of this gallery for testing, you can email it to klas.berlic at gmail.com, won't be used for anything else but compatibility testing.
