Adding character specific item mods (like Xiangling's Guoba, Arlecchino's chair, Keqing's idle scroll, Amber's Baron Bunny, etc) is kinda frustrating and I don't really know where to put it (due to lack of standarization).

Add sub categories on each character. Basically how it goes (I'll make Amber as an example):
Characters> Amber>
Amber
Guoba
Describe alternatives you've considered
Another solution is to put it on the Objects category and add Character Specific Items (imo this will get pretty convoluted in the future considering each game updates adds 2-3 characters).
Additional context
Using sub-categories can also helps with when characters with Multiple outfit (I'll use Jean as an example):
Characters> Jean>
Default
JeanCN
Jean Sea Breeze Dandelion
And for specific character item, put it on the next collumn
