no applications shown in menu. KDE 4.8.2 #33

no applications show up in the takeoff menu after compiling and installing with 
no errors. 

I run "kbuildsycoca4"

and get this, 

kbuildsycoca4 running...
kbuildsycoca4(4001) parseLayoutNode: The menu spec file contains a Layout or 
DefaultLayout tag without the mandatory Merge tag inside. Please fix your file. 
kbuildsycoca4(4001) KConfigGroup::readXdgListEntry: List entry text/html in 
"/home/eric/.local/share/applications/mimeapps.list" is not compliant with XDG 
standard (missing trailing semicolon).

I attached my mimeapps.list file. running netrunner-os 4.1 with KDE 4.8.2
