2 years ago Hi, when you select add device you can choose between the device types like light, plug and camera for example. At the end of this list there is the option Other. You should select that. If you discover then for new devices you should be able to find your devices. But unfortunately there are some errors with the library I use for the alexa part I can't fix. I hope that's not the case for you.

2 years ago I'm sorry but unfortunately that's the error I meant that I can't fix. My last wild guess would be that maybe because of your wifi changes the connection got bad. I had some time ago that problem. I know technically that shouldn't be a problem because it these devices don't send much data but for me it solved such an issue. Keep in mind that because of the metal in the two way mirror the signal gets worse
My wifi recently changed so I had to rediscover my fake devices (my pages for MMM-Pages). I believe I remember being able to choose "Belkin" but it's no longer on the list. I can search for "wemo" and get a result to add a Wemo plug. But I have to enable the Wemo Alexa skill and download the Wemo app. I tried following their tutorial. When connecting a new plug the app asks you to select a Wemo device, and it shows pictures of 6 different plugs. Obviously, I don't have an actual plug. I've found some other instructions for the voice-controlled plugs. Unless I'm misunderstanding, it seems like I have to have a "HomeKit setup code."
Has anyone gotten this to work recently?
