Secondary 'Release Date' field for ports/re-releases/remakes #2788

Feature description

Since many games in peoples libraries are often re-releases, ports, or remakes, it would be nice to have an extra metadata option to separate 'original release date' and 're-release date', and having those be separate sorting/grouping options as well. That way you could have some filters sort in order of original release date, and other filters sort in order of the latest ports and rereleases.

I'm not sure how useful this would be, especially since for example remakes are technically different games.

Ah, that's understandable. I thought it might be an easy implementation so wanted to suggest it. Feel free to close this if it's not needed. (Also I'm sorry if I shouldn't use the 'feature request' as a suggestion box 😅)

It's fine, the line between feature request and suggestion is very thin in my opinion :)
