Assign metadata preferences for an auto-scan configuration #3207

Feature description

The ability to choose different metadata settings for auto-scan configurations.

For example: when importing modern systems like Wii-U or Switch, I prefer IGDB's cover format. For older systems I like to get full box art from ScreenScraper. Currently, when adding a new title for an old platform, I'll have to cancel the metadata import process, manually select the newly added games, then use Ctrl + D and go through my settings for ScreenScraper.

If I could override the metadata settings for specific scanners, it could save me those additional steps. In terms of UI, maybe it could work as an additional tab (with "General" and "Exclusions") on the auto-scan window.

+1, it's very annoying having to manually re-download metadata with a different provider. Completely defeats the effort of automating the process when you can't change which scraper is used. It would be great if we can choose a default scraper per platform.
