Projectile weapon. Danmaku cannons.
-Very energy intensive but spectacularly christmas like in effect. Fires a
dozen energy projectiles in an arc towards the enemy, 1 second after launch
with the projectiles now forming crescent every projectile explodes into three
small shots directed in a shotgun spread at the enemy.
Missile modification MIRV 3
- At a preset distance from the enemy ship the missile divides into three
smaller missiles each with a third of the impact power.
Missile modification MIRV 5
-As above but divided into 5 smaller missiles. These two techs are counter to
point defence via saturating the engagement zone with targets.
Missile modification emission seeking.
-Missile is three times as likely to damage engine modules in comparison to any
other module as it seeks out the engine emissions of the target on final
approach.
Missile warhead Laserhead.
Missile does not hit the target but instead fires a laser beam from a standoff
range. This results in less damage but less ability for the point defence to
intervene.
Missile body Blink.
-Missile comes equipped with a small dimensional motor capable of blinking the
missile towards its target without being intercepted. Blink missiles do not
update their telemetry while blinking however. So they emerge from Blink near
where the enemy ship was a turn ago not where it is now.
projectile weapon Sizzler cannon.
Fires a single shell that explodes into a fiery conical burst of destructive
energy near the target.
Beam weapon wave motion gun.
Requires incredible amounts of energy to fire, fires on the turn after the
order is given. When the order is given the target angle for the beam is saved.
A turn later when the beam actually fires it hits every ship in a broad column
along that firing angle.
Shield type. Blink shield.
Only protects against projectiles and missiles, no protection against beams.
Works by blinking the projectile or missile harmlessly into another dimension
just before impact. This shield's defence rating is represented in the number
of projectiles it can blink out each turn. Any projectiles or missiles beyond
that which hit will go through and inflict harm.
Special. Invasion pod.
This variant transport pod is expensive but gives a one battle bonus to the
soldier power of all troops it deploys if used in a planetary invasion.
Projectile Flak burst.
Simple projectile that explodes and inflicts damage on everything in a small
circular patch around the projectile.
Missile warhead. Ionic shock.
This missile warhead inflicts 50% normal damage but inflicts %50 of its damage
as a reduction to the target's energy reserves.
