Error installing ursa on OSX using 'npm install ursa' #124

Open cmalcom opened 8 years ago

cmalcom commented 8 years ago

I have been unable to get URSA installed. I get the following error every time. I have tried "sudo", tried installing node-gyp first.

Can anyone help?

Here is a full error list from npm install.... I have tried installing in a new project and that worked fine. Is there something that is conflicting with ursa? Thanks for any help

Seems related to https://github.com/quartzjer/ursa/issues/119 which I'm seeing on OS X with node v4.2.2 and npm v3.5.2.

Also it looks like you are using ursa@0.8.5 which is the same that I'm using, but the latest version in ursa@0.9.1.

When I use ursa@0.9.1, it builds just fine.

AlexGustafsson commented 8 years ago

Windows doesn't work either. Nor does ursa@0.9.1 work

sleepyfox commented 8 years ago

I'm on Linux (Ubuntu) with Node v6.0.0 and getting the same error trying to build ursa@0.9.3

iamgr007 commented 8 years ago

@sleepyfox even I'm stuck here!did you find a way out? is this a problem with the version?

sleepyfox commented 8 years ago

Yes, I reverted to an earlier version of the lib that we were using that didn't use Ursa at all. Sorry, not really much of a solution, but well, JavaScript Programmers :-(
