Feedback #2

Howdy! Wanted to submit some feedback from personally playing the map a fair amount, I can't tag these or at least I don't think, since this is admittedly the first time I've put an issue, but anyways...

1: I find the red room to be quite tricky to hold, even with the fixed cover, when you've got one angle covered, you probably have two which are exposed and it can be hard to react quickly, deaths in this room can feel undeserved and/or irritating as a result, it would also be nice to get on top of the nest above, as far as I can tell there is no way to get up there normally.

2: The room with the glowing pillars can also be a bit tricky, most of Monolith seems to be less designed around rooms with magical cover appearing, and more around persistent shooting ranges, sosigs come from different entrances but they all generally come from the same place, the pillar room alongside the red room seem to both go against this, and while some variety is nice, these can sometimes feel irritating to hold when you have enemies coming from different spawns.

3: The sosig spawns are a bit too aggressive, they spawn in your line of sight, I don't mind this myself but I've noticed some others have complained, so maybe that's something to keep in mind if you can fix such a thing.

These are all I can think of for now, I hope this is feedback is helpful to you, thanks for reading.

Hi, CovertAndClumsy

Thanks for the feedback!

  1. The Red "Platform" Hold room has been completely removed and replaced with a much more balanced and fair "Treehouse" Hold in v3.0.0.

  2. This room is designed to be a fuster cluck of sosigs, hint you can look through the orange cores and hide in the cracks to ambush sosigs.

  3. This is a technical limitation, due to the size of the map, if the sosigs spawn out of the room or where they can't see the player, their AI gets messed up and they can't find the player and just go to sleep on the job.
