Upgrade from Create-React-App to Vite

Title: Upgrade from Create-React-App to Vite

The developer experience has improved much since you were in the weeds, let's update to a more modern handler like Vite.

Steps:

• [ ] Run rm -rf . (or the windows equivalent) inside the dizlist-v2 directory

• [ ] Skim through the Getting Started guide for Vite

• [ ] Read the rest of the steps on this ticket before continuing

• [ ] Run npm create vite@latest this will start a CLI which incorporates the next few steps

  • If this doesn't work you might have to upgrade npm
  • If needed install the create-vite package

• [ ] Project name insert a period (literally .)

  • This will use the current directory as a target instead of creating a new one

• [ ] Framework select React

• [ ] Variant select JavaScript

• [ ] Follow the instructions after the scaffold npm install etc.

Notes:

• You may need to reconnect that folder and this repo. Here's an okay stack overflow article about how to do just that.
