@Alex-L-Crane Just to be clear:

If user hits triplet and quantize quarter note then we should quantize to the nearest 1 / (1 x 3) beat 1/(1 x 3) ~ 0.3333 beat
If user hits triplet and quantize eight note then we should quantize to the nearest 1/(2 x 3) beat 1/(2 x 3) ~ 0.167 beat
...etc

Is this correct?

Yeah, I think this should be correct. It isn't notated mathematically in a musical context, so it seems foreign here, but I think the math is correct. Simply multiplying the currently applied division by 3 (hence triplet). Side note: if no standard subdivision is selected (quarters, eighths, sixteenths, ect), the triplet button will be unavailable because it only works in conjunction with a standard subdivision.
