TA feedback - Alok

I really liked the ideas by Bahari Hasjim. If you could combine the ideas behind both the storyboards together, that would be something that I would use :)

Good luck!

A7 (Team ACME) Feedback - Zi (Arlen) Pan

  1. Workout Tracking App by Julian Joshua Komala definitely a good idea - one way to elevate it is to extend the features to allow collaboration/competition by allowing people to compare mileage and workouts/improvements (maybe even real time racing?). Seeing others perform their workouts could emphasize user commitment to connect with each other a lot more.

  2. Popular Bars Bar Crawl Route by Julian Joshua Komala I like this one too! The main feature is mapping the route - you can improve this by adding more features such as checking for cover charges, maybe extending drinks menu and changing route preferences based on those.

I went over the first two storyboards and I think they're really cool ideas. For the first one, since it's just displaying the count of the photos associated with the albums, I feel like it doesn't really give me a good idea of the places themselves, so even if a place is really popular (ie. a large count of photos), I wouldn't be sure if I would personally enjoy going to the place without seeing the photos of them. That's why I agree with Alok and that integrating the first two ideas would make it something I would use, as seeing the photos of the places themselves would give me a better understanding of why a place is popular.

For the fourth storyboard, 4. I like the idea of searching for off-campus study spots, but sometimes when you arrive at a cafe, there’s already too many people, so I think maybe including a way to see how busy it is (maybe try using the bar graph google has of how busy a place usually gets throughout the day).

Team 7 - ACME The storyboards by Bahari had very similar ideas but were presented as solving the same problem (finding better places to take instagram pics).

Running app: There are a lot of running apps already available and tracking distance could present issues since not all running paths are properly represented on maps.

Off-campus Study Room: I really like the idea of checking for different features that you want (wifi, food). It makes for a more personalized search experience.

Bar Crawl: Would it give directions to each new location? use google maps?

Surfing app: seems like a good idea. Could it be applied to other activities?
