7 years ago Team A8: Karthik: The most important thing to finish by next week is adding a small legend or a key to help differentiate between a cluster and a single camera. Right now it was a bit confusing as to what each sign meant. With the addition of this key or legend, the user would be able to better identify what means what.
Hon Lao: The flickr finder app has great features and most functions work. I feel that the most important thing to work on is smoothing out the UI and creating a more asethetic appeal. The app looks very white and plain right now
Robert Ferng: the core functions and interactions are complete. The most important thing to finish by next week would be to brighten up the ui. Maybe decide on a color scheme and use those colors through out the app. A legend explaining the hotspots and camera would also help clarify the app.
Danny Dang: I think the most important thing to finish by next week is to make the app more colorful. I photo app with no colors isn't a good idea. Instagram tried it and it was met with pretty bad feedback. I think coming up with a color palette for the app will make it breathe and make people enjoy it more. Otherwise it's really bland to look at monochrome. Also I think it takes too many clicks to zoom in on a location. I would get lazy to go all the way just to see something in particular. Also make the photo viewer a little bit more friendly. Maybe instead of having the thumbnails on the bottom in a wall format, make it a film strip that the user can tap left right arrow keys to go through. An example would be imgur slideshow viewer.

Ricky: The most important thing to finish by next week is redesigning the markers to show the title of the location and making them more visually aesthetic (color, variations for type, etc). This includes changing the marker cluster image to an image more related to your theme (ex. a photo album/a different camera). I would also like to see integration of the tags search bar into the map so that the map can be larger on the screen. To distinguish between the two search bars, you could have a picture icon next to each search bar (ex. a location marker next to the location search bar and a hashtag next to the tag search bar). Overall I really like how your app is clean and useful!
Siyu: I love how the app looks currently, the map is simplistic, the greyscale and the markercluster colors look very nice in contrast. One thing I would like to see is if you hover over the camera icon, the app should show the preview instead of having to click on the icon. This way it is a little bit more user friendly. Also for aesthetic purposes, you can combine the search and tag filter bar into one.
Arvin:
The most important thing to finish by next week is the different/new UI that you are working on. Also, make the filter function work, and upload picture function work. After finishing those core things, with the rest of your time, fix the clustering so that you don’t have to be so close for the clusters to disappear. Then finally polish up how the app looks, I suggest changing the icon for the cluster to a camera or something. Also make it clear that the pictures that show up below the pictures that you click are nearby pictures, some might think they are related some other way.
