Ultimately, it would be nice to have a loading spinner or something to indicate to the user that pulling from GCal is taking a bit.
Alternatively, we could only pull a week at a time and pull more in response to user interaction (they view later on/schedule a meeting past the ending).
Unfortunately, we don't have time to implement this before submission, so right now we just pull 8 weeks.
