Output toggled back to "None (Off)" after a reboot or waking from sleep on Snow Leopard 10.6.7 #101

What steps will reproduce the problem?

1. Install Soundflower
2. Set Soundflower (2CH) to Built-In Output
3. Set Soundflower (16CH) to NONE(off)
4. Set Default output of system to Soundflower (16ch)
5. Set specific application to Soundflower (2CH)
6. Soundflowerbed is set to run on startup.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?

This mutes all system sounds except the application piped to Soundflower (2CH).
Apple scripts control switching system default output from standard output to
the Soundflower (16CH) and back and forth. The application piped to the 2CH
output will always play (a SIP phone). When a call comes in, my applescripts
set system output to Soundflower (16CH) which mutes browser, itunes, flash,
etc. and allows only SIP phone piped to Soundflower 2CH to play.

However, after a reboot, Soundflower (2CH) will occasionally revert back to
NONE(off) output. This means the piped applications sound is now muted as
well. Calls will come in on the application, but all sound is muted, and no
voice/ring tones work.

To highlight: On reboot output occasionally switches from "Built-In Output" to
NONE(off) on the Soundflower (2CH). Is it possible to set a config file, or a
set of defaults that Soundflowerbed will load on boot?

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?

Mac OSX 10.6.7.

Soundflowerbed v. 1.5.2

Please provide any additional information below.

My scripts only toggle the 16CH output which is set to NONE to mute system
audio and still allow the output from the 2CH. Removing the scripts entirely
from the equation and setting the 2CH to built-in output still results in it
being toggled back to NONE after a re-boot.

If you need logs or anything please let me know!

Hello,
same problem for me with Soundflower 1.6.6b on Mac OS X Mountain Lion 10.8.2.
After reboot the setting for 2CH is set to "NONE" automatically.

Best regards.

After sleep, I get somewhat random output volume settings - usually 0 for one
side and .6 for the other.. Annoying as I have to change it every time.. Using
latest version (1.6.6) and Mountain Lion (latest)..

I have this issue as well, though in my instance, having just installed
Soundflower on my rMBP for the first time, I discovered that if in clamshell
with audio being carried over to my u2713hm via mini displayport, the output is
toggled back to None if I open the lid of the rMBP to go back into extended
displays.
