📊 FEATURE: Journaler Insights!

Description

I think there are some fascinating, helpful, and even simply fun ways that we can leverage the data we have about our users' Journaly usage. Of course, we already have a great stats feature that shows users their activity which has been very popular. I think it would also be cool to give them "insights" that are a little more to do with their language learning journey!

Presenting: Journal Insights! (of Journaly-sights! 😆)

I think it would be either really cool, helpful, or just fun for users to be able to see analysis/data from all their posts for things like:

• Your most common/used words in each language
• Your least common/used words in each language
• Longest words used
• New words this month! vs. repeated words
  • In some ways, this helps users see how much they are expanding their vocabulary on Journaly over time
• Most commonly used topics
• Maybe a graph showing how many thanks they've received & how much feedback they've left over time

Visual Design Notes

• Perhaps we could visualize this data for users in really fun, interesting, and easy-to-read ways with graphs
• Maybe in the future they could toggle the way the data is shown through different types of graphs and other visualizations
• It would be cool to show how these things change for a user over time

Location

I think this is a perfect thing to put on the new Dashboard home as an additional section, where we will have:

• My Goals
• My Activity
• My Posts
• My Badges
• My (Language) Insights ?

Open Questions

• Should this be a premium feature?
  • I think this is a perfect candidate for a premium feature 🌟 Provides additional value and a new little dimension to the Journaly experience, but doesn't take away from the core educational features at all if you don't have it ✅

This sounds amazing!! please also add a "longest word of all languages" German would always win that category ^^ Just kidding. Regarding things like this, you could also ask other users' opinions and suggestions in a brief Journaly post. And I think I'd be fair to be a Premium feature.
