i would like to test your software on a self-hosted instance. But there are multiple issues right now.
I set up your software inside of my unraid homelab with different services (like nextcloud and other stuff) and it runs on an older asus j4105 SoC mainboard.
My issues are:
in the android app, there is no button to add my self-hosted instance (there is no option to add a custom server... it only accepts the default server - maybe it is be hidden behind some flaw? And i need to create an account for your cloud service.)
i have to run mongo:4.4.18, because mongo:7.0 needs AVX support on cpu architecture... but i wanted to test it nevertheless; should be mentioned somewhere for homelab user
please test, if you can run this version with your software :)
after some config issues, i got the credentials.txt generated into my /mnt/data folder
problem is, that i cannot login with the credentials into my instance. No error message at website nor in logs, nothing
the logs in journey-service is empty (except the credentials), so i cannot debug anything, but it seems to connect correctly to redis, mongodb and typesense (please write doc, why you need which service and which should be in backup)
the journey-service cannot be start up, when mongodb is already initialized by previously runned instance, so i need to delete the mongodb data before every start of your service
because of previous issue, i cannot supply you with meaningful logs.
If you need some more insights or give me some more, i am happy to contribute. :)
As my usecase: I would like to switch from daylio and provide this service for my family. But i want to run a fully self-host instance without any dependency to your own cloud service. Is this possible and within your business plan?
Have a great day. I am looking to hear from you.
Peter
