A computer simulation of the human brain. Would it think as it does without being in a human body? Will it feel as we do? Understanding the autonomy of brain. The duality of consciousness.

What exactly is consciousness? What makes a human being? The state of being. If you remove the brain, have you killed someone? What makes personality? Other body organs will be useless if the brain is dead. Operates the functioning of the whole body. You're your brain. Hypothesis 1: you're still you as long as your brain is alive, irregardless of physical state. Hypothesis 2: possible existence of a superior brain. A quantum one. One that is responsible for mental strength. Beating addiction. You have to be mentally strong to overcome addictions and face your fears. Existence of addictive behaviour signals mental weakness. This is when the brain controls you. You have to be in control, not the converse. The state that controls your brain, now that's you.
