Login/signup breaks at email entry step (from already existing membership with no channel)

Problem

SSIA - I have an old membership account (i.e. I am not using the faucet) for which I updated the keys, I added some small amount of tokens, and when I try to sign in and get prompted for an email it will not proceed and gets stuck at "waiting for extension" (to be clear I have put in the email and signed the TX)

This seems to have fixed itself somehow. So closing. note: I did clear the auth.gleev.xyz data, so maybe that had something to do with it.
