As a user I cannot find an overview of how much $JOY I have received from participating in revenue shares. This makes me confused about how much I have actually gained over time, and also if I have missed out on any previous revenue shares and also leaves me confused about how much revenue I can claim now.
I find the current UI on the portfolio page to be a bit convoluted and find it confusing to understand how much I actually own in liquid CRT tokens. It seems to include the membership's $JOY balance in this which appears to be a mistake/oversight.
On top of this, when I just visit Gleev casually, I have to either browse through notifications, rely on reading email notifications or specifically click the "Portfolio" page manually. There isn't anything in the general Atlas viewer UI that indicates that I may have revenue shares available.
In this section, I suggest adjusting the LQT/TVL section or placing below it a summary of:
Currently owed/claimable revenue (in $JOY)
Total amount of missed revenue (i.e. "I didn't participate in time for x/y/z revenue shares, so I missed this amount of rewards")
Total amount of claimed revenue
Solution 2
(same screenshot as above applies)
I suggest that this section is adjusted from LQT/TLV to be a bit more specific. It seems to currently include the $JOY that I have in my membership account which makes things very confusing--I would expect here to have the value of my CRTs and CRTs alone be specifically highlighted.
I would like to see something like:
My "Current $JOY balance"
My "Liquid Creator Tokens Value" (the sum of the current market price of all CRTs that I own and are liquid/possible to sell)
My "Locked Creator Tokens Value" (meaning those that haven't been unstaked)
My "Total Creator Tokens Value" (meaning both of the 2 items above this)
(there is obviously some wiggle room with how much/little to include here--but I think "Current $JOY balance" needs to be separated out from "Creator Token Value" is the main issue right now)
Solution 3
I suggest to add a specific area to the left of these two circles that indicates very clearly whether there is a current revenue share that I could claim--clicking this button at any time should take me to the portfolio page.
It could say something like "500 $JOY revenue available for claim now" or "Revenue claim: 500 $JOY" or "CRT Claim: 500 $JOY"
this should obviously be shortened down to something that just clearly communicates and makes obvious to the user that there is revenue available for them to claim now
It should ideally be designed such that it is red and really highlights that there is an immediate action that the user can take right now to claim available $JOY from CRTs
In the case that a revenue share isn't available it should be greyed out--but still act as a way for a user to go to the portfolio page directly
In the case that a user is new and doesn't own any CRTs it should maybe try to advertise/point users towards the idea of the CRT marketplace somehow.
Problem
Note that this issue is distinct from: https://github.com/Joystream/atlas/issues/6433 which suggests a historical/table breakdown.
