Requirements

This has to be a thoughtful text. It has to cover a wide range of issues concerning compensation, copyright retention, reuse, publishing in other applications, and deeper questions around forking the chain and also chain reboots which copy state.

A fundamental decision here is: should the DAO adopt a policy that is very permissive and basically has the creator automatically agree to anyone who forks the chain to start over, or should the policy be more focused on protecting the network effect/moat of the original DAO. In all cases, it's pretty much a requirement that the creator can opt-in and out of whatever they want, actively, at any time, since relinquishing copyright is basically a non-starter for any such system, but the default terms really matter here.
