Trim latest thread preview

These previews, which show the text, don't work, its totally broken, so lets just clip the actual content preview - which is irrelevant, and then use the new freed up vertical space to have two rows of thread, so there is more space to see more latest threads. We can keep a single carousel button, and just populate the carousel columnwise.

How was this solved though? That issue talks about broken trimming, that is not the core of my issue here, and I'm recommending different changes.
