First of all thanks for a great guide. Monterey up and running.
Can't seem to get the thunderbolt to run though. I have an apple thunderbolt 3 to 2 converter to a thunderbolt 2 to ethernet converter. (this is how Avid tell you to do it to run Avid Protools audio software. Daft but true).
In Catalina this showed up as a network device as it should but not in Monterey. The thunderbolt/usb4 part of system information reports " no driver loaded". Should there be?
Also with a usbc external hard drive I have to boot with it plugged in for finder to see it. Once laptop is booted then hot swapping the drive doesn't work and the drive disapears until a reboot.
Also is there any way of getting the Dell1820A wifi card to connect to a router running 80mhz 5g for max throughput. It connects but fails to get an IP address. As soon as I drop the bandwidth in the router to 40Mhz is connects no problem.
The same wifi card connects to the 80MHz 5g in Windows no problem so I don't think the router is at fault.
Cheers
Hey, I have moved from the laptop to a desktop hackintosh with Alder Lake + Navi 2 GPU. I no longer have this system to provide support although will leave the GitHub repo as is
