I'm trying to get this to work on my SCOM 2016 server, and not having much luck, I'm wondering if anything needs to be updated?

we have a 1801 DEV system and the MP works.

What is working and what not? I can try to help.

Hi @dhatt ,

I remember that I also had trouble when moving to another Windows Server 2016. Reason was the TLS 1.2 enforcement.

I had to remove the TLS 1.2 enforcement via registry change to make it work again. I guess that Solarwinds' certificate is the limitation here.

I'm guessing that is the problem. We are very locked down and have to have TLS 1.2. I wish there was a way to do this in our environment. :(

Please get in touch with the SolarWinds support and check the issue with the certificate. - I am not 100% sure if I am right. - At least it fixed the issue here ...

Perhaps they can generate a certificate which is working with 1.2 .
