Chavah should allow for users to chat with other signed-in users. This will help build a community of Chavah listeners. Consider using the new SignalR for ASPNetCore 2.1

Yeah, that's one of our options.

The upside would be, we have full ownership of the whole thing. And it'd be fun to code against the new SignalR bits. (I've used the old SignalR on past projects.)

The downside is, it's a lot of work. Rolling our own chat/friends list/block list/moderation capabilities/private messages, etc.

Still, I'm opened to it. It'd be fun to code up!
