Hello Juergen,
thank you for sharing your findings. It was very helpfull for me! I have a Windows Server 2016 Essentials Server with an integrated Office 365 instance. There is an Essentials Server Dashboard which queries the properties of a Sharepoint Online Site and it crashes completely. I spent min. 10 hours to find the problem. Now it´s working!
