I'm not sure about the precise history of is_approx
, but yes, your first error seems due to using an older version of DomainSets. Note that v0.7 is quite recent, so it may not be adopted by many other packages yet. You may have better chances with satisfying all dependency requirements for the time being by using DomainSets v0.6.
@PallHaraldsson feel free to post updates here of the dependency requirements if you can't get ParameterEstimation to compile (or if you do please describe the outcome - thanks). Changes from v0.6 to v0.7 in DomainSets were mostly about the internals, the functionality should be almost entirely the same and using 0.6 is fine, but I definitely want to hear about any issues that arise
