Theoretical discussion on what is discrete/differential entropy #222

This issue is a reminder to, sometime in the future, clarify the difference between discrete/differential entropy. A longer discussion is found in #219, but keeping it as a separate issue makes sure the issue doesn't get lost in closed issue discussions.

Clarifying this issue may or may not involve fundamental changes to the API, so I'm tagging it with the 3.0 milestone to highlight that this is futuristic.
