Transfer `MarchingCubes.jl` ? #10

Now that MarchingCubes.jl is a dependency of UnicodePlots.jl, I'd like to transfer the repository to an organization in order to ease future maintenance and/or contributions.

I believe it fits in JuliaGeometry since Meshing.jl also supports an alternative implementation of Marching Cubes.

Do you think this is relevant ?

This sounds like a good idea. Want to add me so I can do the transfer? I will then add you for that repo.

t-bltg commented 2 years ago

Can we do that the other way around (me being added to JuliaGeometry and transfer the repo afterwards) ?

sjkelly commented 2 years ago

You should see an invite to the org. Let me know if there are issues. Otherwise it will likely be easiest to let me do the transfer by adding me to your repo.

t-bltg commented 2 years ago

Thanks, it does seem to fail to transfer because of the Owner / Member status within the org (cannot create the repo in the org). I've added you as a collaborator, so you can try to transfer on your side.

Can you increase my permissions so I can transfer it out?

t-bltg commented 2 years ago

Looks like a chicken / egg problem . It seems I can't change your rights: https://stackoverflow.com/questions/16250301/how-to-manage-collaborator-rights-in-github.

This is the message when I try to transfer: You don’t have the permission to create public repositories on JuliaGeometry

t-bltg commented 2 years ago

I can try transferring it to you, so that you can transfer it to the org afterwards (https://stackoverflow.com/a/65055797).

EDIT: this worked, you should see it now ?

Very nice, thank you very much !

I'll make the PR in https://github.com/JuliaRegistries.
