Errors while installing IJulia on Windows.

I Use Windows x64, Anaconda-2.0.1-Windows-x86_64, julia-0.3.0-rc1-0480f1b-win64. When installing IJulia, I run Julia as administrator. I am getting errors when trying to install IJulia:

Thank you for fast response. I completely uninstall Julia and after installed it again. Then I tried to install IJulia but getting errors:

Would you mind to try removing/renaming your C:\Users\admin.julia\v0.3 and then run Pkg.add("IJulia") again?

I deleted c:\Users\admin.julia\ and after tried to install IJulia. I am getting errors:

I did a clean Julia install using julia-0.3.0-rc1-d303568-win64.exe and do not see these errors when building IJulia. (however, I did see the errors with version 0480f1b). Please make sure you are on that version d303568-win64 (see also julia> versioninfo()).

If you are on the most recent build, then please check to make sure there is no other version of libexpat-1.dll in your PATH.

I was using version 0480f1b . I thought you meen to download new IJulia, not Julia. Sorry for that. Now I am using d303568-win64. As you see below I had only to warnings saying that I have to run WinRPM.update() and I did it. But after that when I am trying to run IJulia I am getting some errors:

Ok, that's better - the install looks fine now!

The IPython startup commands are shell scripts/executables, not Julia commands, so they need to be run from the Windows cmd prompt or Julia's shell>.

In Julia you can type ; to get a shell prompt.

shell> ipython notebook --profile=julia

or in cmd:

C:\> ipython notebook --profile=julia

I recently added a feature (328ab6a877a255f5ac81529415f7b2a1bc1ed31b) where you can just do

using IJulia
notebook()

in Julia, so you can avoid the Windows command prompt.

I haven't had a chance to document it (partly because I haven't tested it much), but you can try it out to see if it makes life easier on Windows.

"ipython notebook --profile=julia" and "ipython notebook --profile julia" (without quotation marks) launches IJulia. Thank you for help.

I also tested "using IJulia" and after "notebook()" (without quotation marks) but I am getting errors:

@NikolaMandic, please (a) file separate issues when your problem is different than that of the original issue and (b) file issues with the appropriate package (c) file issues with the appropriate packages (if your problem is building Nettle, file an issue with nettle) and (d) check to be sure it is not a firewall issue (try downloading from those URLs manually — they might be blocked by some firewall you are behind).
