That showed up with the default setting. So it is method = :trust_region

Okay... Are they the same array or do they just hold the same values? Are you sure it's not just that it converges in 0 iterations? Try changing an element of res.zero
and see if the initial point field changes as well.
They just hold the same values. I can see that it iterates because I know the true initial values and also see the number of function evaluations in the output be around 50.

but
all( o.initial_x .== o.zero )

When I take a look at the ouput object of
nlsolve
the fieldsinitial_x
andzero
show the same data, namely the content ofzero
.
