COPIERTemplate implements many best practices, some more aggressive than others.

A short incomplete list:

CODE_OF_CONDUCT.md
Issue and PR templates
pre-commit, including, but not limited to the hooks:
- JuliaFormatter
- Markdown, TOML, JSON and YAML linters and/or formatters
- Markdown link checks
- Don't commit to main
