Very good question.
@andreasnoack @ararslan With Dahua (who's far ahead but hasn't contributed for ages), we are the top four contributors to the package; then there's a gap and quite a few contributors with 20 commits or less. Should we cite the package as Lin, Bouchet-Valat, Noack & Arslan?
I'm not sure how these things work but for what it's worth the repo license lists the following as the copyright holders:
Copyright (c) 2012-2016: Dahua Lin, Simon Byrne, Andreas Noack, Douglas Bates, John Myles White, Simon Kornblith, and other contributors.
Not sure whether that's relevant for citation but figured it's worth pointing out.
Ah yes, funny. These copyright mentions are always weird as we forget to update them. :-D This list of names actually dates back to 2014.
I just calculated Cronbach alpha via StatsBase.jl for a paper. If calculated via psych's R package, I would have cited that. Can I also cite StatsBase in some way?
