Search bar button broken? #13

I was wondering if the magnifying glass button for the search bar was meant to be as it is now. You can see what I mean by hovering over it. ex. http://www.reddit.com/r/web_design

It may be me and my OCD but it just doesn't look right. I altered the css code and removed the button all together on my test subreddit page and it looks so much better.

Its just a thought. Awesome theme by the way!!!

+1 to this. Hide the input and extend the search to 100% width.

@vyporx does clicking the search icon at the end of the input act as a button and submit content or does the user have to press enter to submit a search?

WatsonWeb commented 9 years ago

@purduekenny If you are referencing the blue search icon, right now that's just a background and has no functionality.

purduekenny commented 9 years ago

@vyporx I'm referencing the icon on the right

vyporx commented 9 years ago

@purduekenny Yes, the icon works when pressed. You can view it here...

Can you create a pull request to fix?

I'm working on restyling this form slightly now. Unrelated, but... what is going on with the nightmode css? I can't see anything on the sub about a nightmode but it's referenced a lot in the CSS (or at least, I think so - is this :lang(nt) ?)
