Since I am not an arch user I was wondering, is paru available for all arch users? Also, will the package be updated "automatically"?

Yup, it is the widely preferred AUR helper these days.

I will be watching the releases and updating the package. Feel free to ping me or flag it out of date on AUR if anything happens 🐻
